In one form or another, content marketing has been around for many many years. Certainly long before the arrival of the Internet. These days we see “Blogging” as the main form of content marketing. Personally I’m not a fan of the word ‘blogging’ as this form of content marketing isn’t a blog. The word ‘blog’ comes from Web Log which is essentially a diary. This type of content marketing is certainly not that.
To be successful with this form of marketing depends on a number of things. My aim with the club is to help to educate the members in the art of ‘blogging’ and how to use it to grow a business. For this type of marketing to work, a commitment to attend the club regularly is of paramount importance as it is a long term marketing strategy that will only pay dividends if done on a consistent and regular basis.
Each month we will work on building up a keyword list for your business, Carry out SEO on the blog post pages, write the posts and publish the posts. We will also talk about how best to distribute the content and drive traffic to your website.
